    Tech savy entrepeneurs can now take credit/debit card payments via their Apple or Android device thanks to Square! When I got my Dell Streak 7, the first app I downloaded to my device was Square. I set my account up on my Streak and waited until I received my card reader in the mail. I heard stories that it was taking a month for some people to get their readers, but I received mine in about 5 days. With my account set up and my card reader in hand I was ready to try this thing out! I wanted to see how long it took for the charge to hit my customer’s account, how long it took for me to get my funds into my business account, and how easy it was to use the app.  This app is very user friendly and it was a breeze going through the entire transaction start to finish.  I swiped my customer’s card, entered in the amount of the sale ($20), took a picture of the customer for security in the event they claimed they didn’t do the transaction, entered in their email address for an electronic receipt, and had the customer sign her name on the device with her finger!  Being a banker by trade I wanted to know if the charge was deducted from my customer’s bank account instantaneously, and it

    Ok, first off, I am by no means a super tech savy person, but I do have a lot of cool gadgets and devices!  I was given a Dell Streak 7 for my birthday from my wonderful girlfriend and family. (Feb. 7 for those who missed it!) My main purpose for wanting the Dell Streak 7 was because of it’s size, accessability, and the cool applications I could use with it.  One of the apps that was a priority download for me was Square.  Square is an app that allows you to take credit/debit card payments via your device.  There is no monthly fee or contract to use Square, which was a plus!  Now I can accept credit/debit card payments at the trade shows I attend, on the streets, at my mom’s, basically anywhere! (full Square review will come as I use the app)  I also wanted a device that I could take anywhere and update my blog.  I have been using the device for about 5 days now and below is my quick review. Specs:  Android 2.2 OS, nVidia Tegra T20 processor, 7 inch 800×480  WVGA screen, 1.3 MP front facing camera, 5 MP rear camera with flash, 16 GB of internal memory with the capability to support an additional 32 GB, all on T-Mobile’s 4G network.
